Angelo Que wins Japan PGA Tour Golf Tournament

Angelo Que won the Japan PGA tournament TOP Cup Tokai Classic at the Miyoshi Country Club West Course in Aichi, Japan and claim the top prize worth 10 million pesos.

The Filipino pro golfer won by two shots to beat Aussie Won Joon Lee and Korean Ye Yang.

Que finished the final round with a 66 and a 17-under 271 total.

Won also shot a 66 while Yang carded a 67 for 273s.

Juvic Pagunsan, who shared the third round lead with Yuta Ikeda, birdied the last hole to card a 71 and end up joint fourth with Lee Sang-hee, who rallied with a 68, at 275.

“At long last…it’s like it’s his first win after eight years,” said Que’s wife Tracy, herself a pro golfer. “We weren’t with him but we were there in heart and spirit. He was thinking of us out there and we were too.”
