DZMM Radyo Patrol Sais Trenta programs "Radyo Patrol Balita" and "Bago Yan Ah" bested more than 50 entries worldwide and made it as finalists in the 2007 Asia Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) Prizes in Tehran.

"Radyo Patrol Balita (Alas-dose)," anchored by DZMM station manager Angelo Palmones, is up against entries from Hong Kong's RTHK, China's RTPRC/CNR, and Singapore's MediaCorp Radio stations in the Nest News Category for Radio.

"Bago Yan Ah," a weekly program hosted by Palmones that educates and empowers listeners by dishing out information on science and technology, is nominated in the Best Infotainment category for radio against entries from India's AIR, Iran's IRIB, Japan's NAB/MRT, and Korea's SBS stations.

ABS-CBN Vice President for Manila Radio Division Peter Musngi said the recognition is an acknowledgment of the radio station's high standards in bringing the latest news and producing quality programs for the public.

Meanwhile, Filipinos living abroad can now watch DZMM's programs online via DZMM TeleRadyo when they subscribe to ABS-CBN Now.

DZMM recently introduced a new weekend show wherein listeners can call and request for their favorite songs in "Music and Memories" hosted by Willie Nepomuceno and Boots Anson Roa every Sunday, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. It is shown simultaneously in DZMM TeleRadyo on SkyCable channel 26.

The Rotary Club of Manila recently honored DZMM as the Radio Station of the Year for its balanced news and quality programming. DZMM also topped the latest AC Nielsen survey on AM radio stations Mega Manila in the second quarter of 2007.
