“Simbang Gabi,” the traditional evening masses during the Christmas season in the Philippines has begun.
The nine-day series of masses held at night and at dawn are held from December 16 to 24 to prepare the Catholic faithful for the commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ on December 25th.
