The Philippines’ biggest All-Filipino Book Fair is happening this November 20-21 at SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City.

The Book Development Association of the Philippines (BDAP), organizers of the longest running annual Manila International Book Fair, announced on social media its presentation of the 2019 Aklatan: The All-Filipino Book Fair.

The two-day event will feature the Philippines’ book publishers, book sellers, and book creators in a concerted effort to support Filipino writers and the local book industry.

Aklatan was first organized in 2013 by Visprint Inc. and co-presented by the National Book Development Board (NBDB).

Known publications from Visprint Inc. such as Bob Ong’s books, Manix Abrera’s comic strip compilations, and the award-winning Trese series will be sold in the 2019 event.
