This year’s conference carries the theme “Global Best Practices in Consumer Protection: New Threats and New Defenses.” The event aims to spotlight international strategies and solutions to help stakeholders strengthen their cybersecurity posture and effectively address evolving digital threats.
BPI President and CEO TG Limcaoco said the gathering will bring together cybersecurity experts, government leaders, industry pioneers, and seasoned speakers from across the globe, offering participants a unique opportunity to learn directly from international thought leaders.

Despite the Philippines’ improvement in the 2024 United Nations Global Cybersecurity Index (GCI), moving up to 53rd from 61st in 2020 due to growing efforts to strengthen its defenses, there is still a need to be proactive with the evolving digital landscape.

Richard Leo Baldueza, Secretary of the Committee on Banks and Financial Intermediaries, House of Representatives; Mary Grace Mirandilla-Santos, Policy Analyst, Secure Connections; and Dr. William Yu, Network Security Expert, Secure Connections.
