Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray is granting the wishes of Filipino children with critical illnesses through her birth month fundraiser this year.

Gray’s January fundraiser is in partnership with Make-A-Wish Foundation which named the Filipina beauty queen its first ambassador of 2021.

The Philippines’ fourth Miss Universe who raised funds for children with cleft-lips last year, shared in an Instagram post on January 13 about her ongoing donation drive for the benefit of Filipino kids battling life-threatening illnesses.

“This year, for the whole month of January, I’m partnering up with Make-A-Wish Philippines as their first ambassador for 2021. 😁 The Make-A-Wish Philippines @makeawishphilippines foundation helps grant life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses,” Catriona Gray wrote.

As of this writing, Catriona Gray’s birthday fund drive has been able to raise over PhP 50,000 in donations, with 9 more days left to get funding and reach the goal of PhP 100,000.

“I hope you’ll join in supporting me in this fundraising effort to give hope and happiness to children who battle against huge challenges day in and day out,” the Filipina beauty queen said.

Any amount is welcome, Catriona adds.
