El Nido and Boracay beaches in the Philippines have been awarded among the Top 25 Beaches in Asia in the 2020 Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards.
The Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Best of the Best listing named Nacpan Beach in El Nido, Palawan, White Beach and Yapak Beach both in Boracay, Aklan, among the very best beaches as reviewed and rated by the world’s travellers.
“Yeah, we wish we were there, too. White sand, rugged coastlines, the works — these are the beaches that travellers say are the world’s best,” said Tripadvisor of its 2020 list.
#4 Nacpan Beach in El Nido, Palawan
Tripadvisor introduces Nacpan Beach: “A long coastline, golden sand, beautiful crystal waters and a completely virgin landscape make a visit to this place unforgettable!”
A Tripadvisor traveller review exclaims, “Woww woww what a white beach, amazing pure water with hundreds of palms and 3 km white sand.. and in the south end.. joins another white beach.”
#8 White Beach in Boracay, Malay, Aklan
Praised by Tripadvisor as, “Calm, warm waters, gently sloping sand. Very relaxing. Possibly the most beautiful beach in Asia.”
White Beach is Boracay’s most popular beach and is famous for its amazing sunsets and its white sand that stays cool in hot weather.
# 20 Yapak Beach (Puka Shell Beach) in Boracay, Malay, Aklan
“Spend your time here rather than white sand beach,” encourages Tripadvisor travellers.
Yapak Beach is the second largest beach on Boracay. The popular destination is also called Puka Shell Beach after the prevalent white seashells.
In 2019, Nacpan Beach was also named among both the World’s and Asia’s best, while Boracay beaches were still ranked high at 2nd spot despite being closed for rehabilitation for 6 months.
