I had the chance to have an exclusive interview with award-winning Filipino actor Enchong Dee—best known for GomBurZa and Four Sisters and a Wedding—and Filipino-American designer Amiel Noble of Noble Creations. This special #BlogtalkFashion and #BlogtalkHollywood segment brought out the best in Filipino artistry and identity.
Enchong flew to Los Angeles to be officially introduced as the new Brand Ambassador of Noble Creations, a label that has dressed Hollywood personalities, including Miss Universe Organization Vice President Olivia Quido. The barong he wore during our interview was no ordinary piece—it featured intricate designs inspired by rice, the Philippines’ staple food.
Meanwhile, Amiel Noble showcased a barong infused with illustrations from classic Filipino comic books, proudly sharing how reading these comics helped him learn the Filipino language. “I’m happy to finally have a brand face to Noble Creations, and Enchong Dee is the perfect choice,” Noble shared during our conversation.
Both men represent the pride and power of Filipino culture—one through acting and another through fashion—and together, they are elevating the barong to international prominence.
