Attracting more than 350,000 guests, one of them being Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Taste of Manila is coming back for its 10th year in Toronto this August 19 to 20, 2023.

The festival can be accessed for free at Bathurst Street at the corner of Wilson Avenue, also known as Little Manila to the Filipino community of Toronto. Filipinos and Filipinos-at-heart are welcome to try hometown classics like Lumpia, Halo-halo, Lechon, and more!

It is acknowledged as the first Filipino street celebration in Toronto and is completely supported by both the city and the province of Ontario. The Taste of Manila 2023 festival promises to be a greater, merrier, and bigger celebration as it is put on by the Society of Philippine Artists, Recreation, and Community (SPARC), a non-profit organization whose individuals behind it have staged successful events in the community!

Aside from the humongous feast prepared by our Kababayans, people of all ages can enjoy a lineup of activities like kids’ games, band performances, and even textile fashion shows to champion our culture.

Filipino vendors, businesses, and other community members may also enjoy a week full of activities leading up to the big 2-day event. SPARC has organized a Night Gala for vendors and sponsors, a flag-raising ceremony, a promotional motorcade along the thriving Filipino communities, and a Luncheon with community leaders.

Make it an August to remember as you celebrate what a monumental achievement it is to be called a Filipino! See you at the Taste of Manila 2023 Festival!
