Filipino Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) champions from Team Lakay and Catalan Fighting System are headlining the ONE Championship Thrilla in Manila today at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

Four Filipino champions – Joshua “The Passion” Pacio, Rene “The Challenger” Catalan, Eduard “The Landslide” Folayang, and Geje “Gravity” Eustaquio – will see action in the Main Card while Robin Catalan goes in the ring for the Preliminary Card.

The top draw battle will be between two rival camps – Team Lakay’s defending champion Joshua Pacio and challenger Rene Catalan of Catalan Fighting System – who will battle for the ONE Strawweight World Title this November 8.

The younger Pacio, the reigning king and MMA superstar, will meet veteran fighter and Wushu Champion Catalan, who is going into the fight on a 6-bout winning streak, in the Main Card that starts at 8:30 PM (Philippine Time).

Returning to the MMA stage are Filipino MMA heroes, former ONE Lightweight World Champion Eduard Folayang and former ONE Flyweight World Champion Geje Eustaquio, who will meet their respective opponents.

  • Eduard Folayang vs. Amarsanaa Tsogookhuu of Mongolia (mixed martial arts – lightweight)

  • Robin Catalan vs. Gustavo Balart of Cuba (mixed martial arts – strawweight)
