Filipino singer-actor Iñigo Pascual will play a starring role in the upcoming Fox musical drama, Monarch.

Pascual stars alongside Academy Award-winner Susan Sarandon and iconic Hollywood actors Albie Roman, Anna Friel, Trace Adkins, and Beth Ditto in the American drama.

According to a report by Deadline on September 15, 2021, Pascual will portray Ace Grayson, the adopted grandson of Dottie Cantrell Roman (Sarandon).

Pascual, who celebrated his 24th birthday on September 14, also shared the news to his fans on his official Instagram account.

“The news is out…Craziest birthday. Sorry for keeping it for so long,” Iñigo Pascual wrote.

Created by Melissa London Hilfers, Monarch is described on the Fox website as an “epic, multi-generational musical drama about America’s first family of country music.”

The show is executive produced by show creator Hilfers with Instinct creator Michael Rauch, who will also serve as showrunner and executive producer. Gail Berman and Hend Baghdady also exec produce alongside Sandbox Entertainment’s Jason Owen. Monarch is produced by Fox Entertainment.

Kapuso actor and singer Iñigo Pascual is well-known in the Philippines and internationally for his singing and acting career.

Pascual launched his first international single “Options” in 2019 and earlier delivered a trending performance in Asia Rising Forever and performed during the Los Angeles Clippers NBA game at the iconic Staples Center in California.
