The report also quoted Philippine Mango Industry Foundation Inc. president Virginia Dela Fuente saying the new market for the Isabela produce is one of the results of the 21st National Mango Congress that Isabela hosted in March.

Isabela Gov. Faustino Dy III welcomed the maiden shipment that he said would help local mango farmers.

Fresh and preserved Philippine mangoes like that from Isabela are on showcase until May 26 at the Philippine Mango Industry Foundation Inc. booth at the IFEX Philippines in World Trade Center, Manila.
