Johnmar “OhMyV33nus” Villaluna, tank/support and captain of the Tier-one backed squad Blacklist International, has been crowned the Most Valuable Player (MVP) for the Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) – Philippines Season 10.

Villaluna, known as “The Queen” for being an inspiration as the first open LGBTQIA+ member since joining the professional league in Season 4, was announced as the Regular Season MVP on the MPL Facebook page on October 12, 2022.

Villaluna’s Blacklist International has bagged multiple championships including MPL Philippines Seasons 7 and 8, and the M3 World Championship, as well as being the 1st runner-up winner at Mobile Legends: Bang Bang South East Asia Cup 2021 and Mobile Legends Professional League 2021.

In Season 9, OhMyV33nus and Danerie James “Wise” Del Rosario – known as the “V33Wise” tandem – took a break from the MPL Scene to participate in the 2022 Southeast Asian Games’ eSports Mobile Legends: Bang Bang where they won a gold medal for the Philippines.

The Queen’s return to MPL Ph Season 10 showed her conquering the league once more.

OhMyV33nus’ signature picks Estes, Diggie, and Lolita saw her delivering total assists of 327 at an average of 9.62 assists per game, and 80% kill participation – rightfully earning her the title of this regular season’s MVP.

Villaluna’s team has also secured a spot in the IESF World Esports Championship which will take place in Bali, Indonesia from December 1 to 12.

In a Facebook post, Villaluna dedicates the award to her fans, Wise Gaming, and her family.

“From being a rookie in MPL Season 4, now we’re here!

I never expected na magiging #MV33P tayo after being in the tank/support role ever since I joined the league! Salamat sa community for welcoming a barbie tank~ and for appreciating the shotcalls made inside the game. This is for the fans, Wise Gaming and of course, to my family!”

OhMyV33nus has been an inspiration to everyone who dreams of becoming an Esports Professional Player, especially those who are from the LGBTQIA+ community.

With OhMyV33nus’ leadership and intense shotcalling, Blacklist International became the top seed for the regular season with 9 match wins and 4 match losses, earning them a total of 29 points.

Blacklist International will be back on the Land of Dawn on October 21, as they face the winner of the Bren Esports-Omega Esports match-up in the upper bracket semifinals.

The Philippines continues to thrive with its aptitude for the growing industry of eSports, especially in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, as well as other games such as DOTA 2.
