Broadway and West End royalty Lea Salonga is returning to the concert stage via the Dream Again Tour in the United Kingdom.
The Filipino international music icon announced on social media her upcoming concert tour which will have nine shows between June 18 to July 1, 2022.
The original Miss Saigon stage the Dream Again Tour in Leicester, Southampton, Cardiff, Birmingham, Manchester, Brighton, London, Canterbury, and Glasgow between June 18 and July 1, 2022.
“Hey, UK! I’m so excited to announce that I will be back next year for my Dream Again Tour, which includes a very special show at the Royal Albert Hall!” tweeted Salonga on Monday, September 20.

Salonga last held a concert tour in the UK in 2019, 30 years after she debuted on London’s West End as Kim in Miss Saigon – a historic start that propelled the Filipina singer to international stardom.
In 2020, Lea Salonga released a new single titled, “Dream Again”, about resuming dreams once the Covid-19 pandemic that halted live performances has passed.
“There was this idea that once all the physical distancing was done, that we may be able to focus on getting things back to normal and aspire and dream for those things to happen in our lives again after being holed up for so long,” Salonga said of the song.
During the Covid-19 outbreak, Salonga stayed in the Philippines while holding online concerts for fundraisers to help frontliners and members of the creative industry.
Lea Salonga is currently in the United States to fulfill her American tour schedule that was postponed due to the pandemic.
Dream Again UK tickets go on general sale at 10 am on September 24.
