Here is a list of Super Typhoon Karding (International name: Noru) community relief drives where you can send help to those severely affected by the tropical cyclone which made landfall and caused life and property damages, flooding, and landslides in the Philippines on Sunday, September 25, 2022.

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) initial report on Monday morning enumerated the following damages to life and property on Sunday brought on by Super Typhoon Karding’s fierce winds and heavy monsoon rains:

  • 2,444 pre-emptively evacuated from Regions 1, 2, and 6, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA with 643 persons displaced
  • 653 persons (164 families) affected in 28 barangays of 15 cities and municipalities in 5 provinces of 5 regions (Bicol, Cagayan, Cordillera, Mimaropa, Western Visayas)
  • 590 individuals (147 families) evacuated to 34 centers
  • 2,737 passengers, 260 rolling cargoes, 24 vessels, and 13 motor bancas stranded in Bicol, Calabarzon, and Mimaropa after 47 seaports were closed
  • PHP 1 million worth of damage to infrastructure in Mimaropa
  • 12 cities and municipalities experiencing power interruptions
  • communication lines issues experienced in Ilocos and Western Visayas
  • 493 classes and 339 work schedules suspended
  • 2 roads not passable in Bicol
  • 2 flights cancelled

Additionally, Central Luzon regional police reported that 5 rescuers were killed during the flash flood in Barangay Camias, San Miguel, Bulacan on Sunday evening.

The super typhoon forecast issued by the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) mobilized various private groups to set up relief drives in anticipation of victims of Super Typhoon Karding. Among these are:
