Filipino fencers won a total of 10 medals from the South East Asia Fencing Federation Championships held in September in Singapore.
The Philippine national team won 3 gold medals, 2 silvers and 5 bronze medals in the four-day tournament.
Gold medals:
- Filipino-American Louie Brennan Wayne, men's individual foil event
- Brennan Wayne, Nathaniel Perez, Samuel Tranquilan, Michael Nicanor, men’s foil team
- Harlene Orendain, Gabrielle Estimada and Hanniel Abella, women's Epee team event
Silver medals:
- PH women's Saber team
- Noelito Jose, the men's epee
Bronze medals:
- Nathaniel Perez, men's individual foil event
- Harlene Orendain, women's individual epee
- women's team foil
- men's epee
- saber teams
The Philippine fencing team finished third overall.
