The Philippine colors are raised high in China after the Quezon City Football Club won the championship trophy at the 2019 Gothia Cup in Qingdao.
The Laos FC Quezon City bested teams from China and Taiwan in the group category for Playoff B Boys 13 of the international tilt held in Qingdao, China from August 10 to 16.
The young Filipino footballers showed strong determination by aceing every match, save one, and proceeded to trounce China’s Jimo Elite United FC, 4-1, during the semifinal round.
Laos FC capped the 2019 Gothia Cup tournament by beating the Chinese team, Beijing 101 FC, at the finals with the score of 1-0.
