Kpop girl group Red Velvet’s Wendy or Shon Seung-wan says Filipino indie folk-pop band Ben&Ben’s singing is “Beautiful”.
It all started when an anonymous fan of Ben&Ben recommended the band and their songs to Wendy on LYSN mobile application.
“Hi Wendy! I saw you were listening to music and I wanted to recommend a band from the Philippines! Pls listen to songs by Ben&Ben! I think you’ll like them! mahal kita,” the fan said in the post.
The South Korean singer replied, “Omg their voice is so beautiful oh my… Thank you for your beautiful recommendation”.
The photo was shared on Twitter by user @ilyerene. “op gave wendy some music recommendations :)” the user tweeted.
The post was retweeted by Ben&Ben on May 10, 2020, as they celebrated their 3rd anniversary, thanking Wendy for the appreciation.

Ben&Ben fans reacted to the post, bringing Ben&Ben’s name once again to the trending topic.
Fans said they hoped that Ben&Ben and Wendy will do a collaboration song.

Ben & Ben placed the YouTube link to Red Velvet’s song Psycho on their tweet while talking about #3YearsWithBenAndBen, which they later said was an accident.
The National Geographic Ambassadors‘ new song, “Doors”, was released internationally on April 18 on YouTube Live and raised nearly Php 5 million for COVID-19 response.
The band soared 19 notches on the Global Billboard Social 50 Chart, overtaking artists from the United States.
Filipino dancer-actress Ella Cruz and Sexbomb New Generation (SB NewGen) members Eunice Creus and Daphne Red were also noticed by Korean pop Idol group BlackPink member Lisa Manoban with their performance in Indonesia representing the Philippines in the dance competition at Samsung Galaxy’s phone event.
