Filipino artist Robert Alejandro is offering to draw your kid’s digital caricature in exchange for helping the Philippines’ Bicol region that was devastated by Supertyphoon Rolly (Goni).

The Papemelroti Craft Shop founder announced his initiative at the end of the day when Supertyphoon struck the provinces of the Bicol region in Luzon and caused massive floodings and damages to lives and property.

“Get a digital caricature made by me – and give much needed help to our kababayans in BICOL! ❤️❤️❤️🌈🌈🌈 please share to help too!” Alejandro posted on his social media in the early hours of November 2, 2020.

The digital caricatures project mechanics:

  1. Send Robert a personal message with a kiddie pic and email address
  2. Robert will confirm your slot with bank details
  3. Pay and send proof of payment
  4. Robert will send a high-resolution kiddie caricature image to your email

Robert Alejandro has been helping kids and other learners step up skills in drawing during the Covid 19 pandemic by offering free online workshops.

The artist has also collaborated with the Uniqlo brand to showcase Filipino-inspired images while his Papemelroti brand had recently released Philippine heroes articulated paper puppets and the Murillo Velarde Vintage Philippine Map products for the American market.
