Four-year-old Scarlet Snow Belo has signed up as the Philippines’ newest tourism ambassador – the youngest-ever to sign up for the goodwill post.
Scarlet Snow and Department of Tourism (DOT) Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat posted Tuesday on social media about the Filipino model and social media influencer joining the It’s More Fun in the Philippines campaign of the national agency.
“Okay Tita Berna, let’s get to work and invite all the people of the world to our Philippines,” Scarlet Snow captioned her picture with the DOT officials on September 17, 2019. “But only as visitors, okay?” the social media darling cheekily added.
Secretary Puyat presented a video of her with Scarlet Snow together saying the country’s tourism slogan and presenting the newest tourismn ambassador with the caption, “Scarlet Snow, our youngest and cutest advocate of Philippine tourism, is now part of the fun!”
Scarlet Snow is the daughter of celebrity doctors Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho. The girl’s social media accounts, managed by her parents, have millions of followers.
Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat has been drumming up support for Philippine tourism with celebrities signing up as tourism ambassadors including YouTuber Mikey Bustos and the Jollibee mascot for Eats More Fun in the Philippines, viral meme Daniela Mondragon’s Dimples Romana, and Pusong Pinoy Canadian vlogger Kulas Jennermann.
