This year’s 75 Most Influential Filipino-Americans (MIFA) in Hollywood list for 2023 is finally here, and it’s led by some major game-changers: R’Bonney Gabriel Nola, the first Filipino-American Miss Universe; Grammy-winner Olivia Rodrigo; and social media titan Bretman Rock. This roster, released annually by Blog Talk with MJ Racadio on October 18, shines a spotlight on Filipino talent dominating different facets of American entertainment.

Distinct from other “best-of” lists, the MIFA is unique for its focus on creative talents who use their influence for the betterment of their communities. Announced in line with Filipino-American History Month, this list is a nod to the rich history of Filipino Americans—the second-largest Asian American group in the U.S. and the third-largest ethnic community in California.

The annual best-of-list is a showcase of how Filipinos have excelled in various fields of the American entertainment industry – from acting to music, social media to publishing, fashion to costume and stage design, television hosting to filmmaking, talent management to public relations – the coverage is astounding.

MJ Racadio, the celebrity blogger-reporter behind the list, is also set to unveil the second edition of the MIFA Hall of Famer and Lifetime Recognition later today, October 19.
