Urban Crew is all set to represent the Philippines at the America’s Got Talent (AGT) 17th season semi-finals in Pasadena, California.

The dance group from Metro Manila first went on the AGT stage in an exhilarating audition back in June which earned yesses with standing ovations from the audience and all the judges present – supermodel Heidi Klum, Colombian actress Sofia Vergara, and Star maker Simon Cowell.

The Filipino dancers shared their rehearsal and stretching exercises shortly after their arrival at the venue Pasadena Civic Auditorium on September 4, 2022.

The 17-member all-male crew hails from Las Piñas which is why they also refer to themselves as ‘Flyers of the South’ because of their acrobatic and gravity-defying performances.

In an interview with Simon Cowell prior to their performance at the auditions, Urban Crew said they are confident they have a big chance of winning the contest because they have worked hard for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

America’s Got Talent is the biggest and most popular among the global Got Talent franchise. Its stage has seen a roster of Filipino Talents such as 3rd runner-up winner Marcelito Pomoy, Peter Rosalita, Spyros Bros, and Ehrlich Ocampo.

Filipino dance crews VPeepz, The Peepz, and Legit Status have continuously been giving pride to our country as they represent the Philippines on world stages.
