The Filipina artist’s rendition of the song was made available to the public on November 5, 2021.

“Definitely a princess moment,” Maris Racal announced in an Instagram post.

“My first ever project with @disneystudiosph is finally here! I can’t believe this is happening,” Racal adds.

The actress-singer best remembered for her stint on Pinoy Big Brother said that she hopes the song will inspire and empower more young Filipinas to dream big.

“With this song, I hope the young Filipinas would feel empowered to do the things that they’ve always wanted to do, to not forget about the hearts of gold that they have, and to chase their dreams while being compassionate to other people,” Racal said in a behind-the-scenes video feature with Disney.

Disney earlier picked Filipino Singer-songwriter Moira Dela Torre to record for local release a version of the song “Reflection” from the hit animation movie, Mulan, originated by Disney Legend Lea Salonga.

Disney’s first Filipino language Original Soundtrack (OST) for “Raya and the Last Dragon” was performed by Filipina singer KZ Tandingan.
