Netflix now streaming Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza AlDub anniversary movie “Imagine You and Me”

Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza’s AlDub first anniversary movie “Imagine You and Me” started streaming on Netflix this week.

“Imagine You and Me”, released in July 2016 in time for the first anniversary of the phenomenal AlDub tandem, was added to the programming of the popular online site beginning September 17.

The film’s director Michael Tuviera announced the streaming schedule in a social media post ahead of the release saying, “Let’s take a trip back to Como. Love this movie. Love these two.”

Netflix scheduled the AlDub movie for streaming starting September 17, 2019.

“Imagine You and Me” is a romantic drama that tells the story of Gara (Maine Mendoza), an overseas Filipino worker in Italy, who meets medical student Andrew (Alden Richards) who had just ended a relationship.

The AlDub tandem started on the Philippine noontime variety show, Eat Bulaga. Their worldwide fandom has broken social media records and earned the onscreen couple various accolades.

The tandem had recently explored pairings with other celebrity actors with
Alden Richards working with Kathryn Bernardo on the blockbuster movie, “Hello, Love, Goodbye“, and Maine Mendoza matching up with Carlo Aquino for “Isa Pa With Feelings”.
