Twelve-year-old Batanguena rapper Alex Bruce has signed a recording contract with an international music company, Sony Music.
The rising hip-hop star’s rapid-fire rhymes were presented during the music label’s showcase of their new artists on July 24.
Alex Bruce already has two song releases, “Mind Is a Weapon” and “Pull It Off”.
Sony Music Philippines general manager Roslyn Pineda shared to media about plans to promote Alex Bruce by matching her with more renowned hip-hop artists.
A Sony Music video on Alex Bruce revealed the young Filipino rapper’s hopes on her signing up with Sony Music. She also sent a message to other youth.
“If you want to do something keep on doing it. Don’t stop until you’ve reached your dreams… believe in yourself,” said Alex.
