Have you heard of Michelle Butiu, the Filipina fitness trainer who made history by breaking a Guinness World Record in Qatar? If not, then you’re in for a treat!

Meet Michelle Butiu, a San Andres, Manila native and International Fitness Alliance Certified Gym Instructor based in Qatar. She recently achieved a remarkable feat by breaking the Guinness World Record for the Fastest Crossing of Qatar on Foot by a Female.

Butiu’s world record covered 190 km from Al Ruwais to Abu Samra in just 1 day 6 hours, 23 minutes, and 42 seconds.

Michelle beat the previous record by 7 minutes and wore the Philippine flag colors with pride as she achieved this historic milestone.

The fitness enthusiast with a passion for cardio workouts and who loves to sing and hike with friends told GMA News that she started running as a way to cope with her homesickness for the Philippines. But as she continued her runs, she met new friends and found a new purpose.

This was her second attempt at breaking the record, and she has learned the valuable lesson that failure is just a stepping stone to success.

In media interviews, Michelle shared her inspiring story and credited her achievement to her hard work, determination, and support from her friends.

Michele Butiu is a true inspiration to fitness enthusiasts and overseas Filipino workers everywhere, and her record-breaking run in Qatar is a testament to her unwavering spirit and love for life.

If you’re looking for inspiration to achieve your own fitness goals, look no further than Michelle Butiu!
