Where does one find ABS-CBN news and entertainment content now that the media company’s television and radio stations are off the air?

In the two days since ABS-CBN Corporation announced it was signing off on May 5, 2020, to comply with the National Telecommunications Commission’s (NTC) Cease-and-Desist Order to stop operations with the non-renewal of its broadcast franchise, Filipinos around the country and the world are now feeling the absence of the usual programs heard and seen on air.

In its almost 70 years of operation, ABS-CBN has delivered many programs that taught people many lessons in life and gave audiences many memories from childhood with the likes of SineSkwela and other educational programs and its various award-winning shows which have been recognized in the New York Festival, AIB Media Awards in London, among many other recognitions.

Even rival GMA network’s personalities reacted to the network shutting down for the second time since Martial Law in its nearly 70 years of service to the Filipino nation.

An online rally of netizens immediately sprung up on social media, sending the topic of ABS-CBN’s forced closure to trending status.

“NO TO ABS-CBN SHUTDOWN! THEY GAVE US MANY MEMORIES! THEY SHAPED OUR CHILDHOOD!” @jermy_lane tweeted.

“ABS-CBN shows have motivated me to dream and pursue my passion. It’s just sad to see this coming. I just can’t. I can’t imagine this is happening in the middle of this pandemic. Broken heartPleading face” @SamAchico tweeted.

“No more Umagang Kay Ganda in the morning.
No more Showtime in the afternoon.
No more TV Patrol in the evening.
It all starts tomorrow. It’s like I’m saying goodbye to my childhood. I grew up watching shows from this network.
I’m a Kapamilya, always,” @sftedding shared the night ABS-CBN signed off.

“ABS-CBN has been part of my whole entire life. In my 19 years of living I really love how ABS-CBN give entertainment, love, care to all filipinos around the world. ABS-CBN is always the stress reliever of our OFW’s. Their TV shows and their programs were always include US #ABSCBN” @itsdanniiboi also shared.

The last program to air on ABS-CBNChannel 2 television was TV Patrol. News anchor Ted Failon announced the end of the longest-running Philippine network’s broadcast after the show, while Noli de Castro pledged their continued service to the nation, and Bernadette Sembrano announced the continued operation of ABS-CBN’s non-broadcast platforms such as ABS-CBN online.

Good News Pilipinas put together this list of ABS-CBN network platforms that continue to operate and are not covered by the NTC order.

Here are ABS-CBN’s online assets and social media platforms where you can still view its news, entertainment, and sports content:

ABS-CBN and Full House Theater Company are collaborating to live stream the Original Filipino Musical “Ang Huling El Bimbo” on May 8-9 to benefit the network’s Foundation program for COVID-19 relief efforts.
