The airport is set to cater to routes/flights to island tourist destinations.

Sangley Airport is currently being utilized for general aviation operations, with its newly-constructed facilities ready to cater to turbo-prop aircraft for its initial commercial cargo operations that can run from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
