In a Facebook post, Bables acknowledged the award and credited his mentors and supporters for his winning the Best Actor trophy.

The award-winning actor also offered his award to other artists writing, “May this recognition bring inspiration to artists who are at the verge of giving up. Please hold on and stay true to that burning passion inside you. God has a purpose. Sometime, somewhere, there will be someone who will say yes to all of your dreams. HINTAY and SIPAG LANG.”
