The Cordillera Regional Science High School (CRSHS) Glee Club brought home pride and honor for the Philippines after winning gold medals at the 8th Bali International Choir Festival (BICF) held in Indonesia.

The campus singing group from La Trinidad, Benguet, now joins the list internationally-awarded Filipino choral groups such as UPLB Choral Ensemble, UP Singing Ambassadors and UST Singers, after bagging 2 gold medals from the Bali competition in two different categories.

The CRSHS Glee Club won the nod of 16 choral experts who judged the international choral competition on July 26, clinching the gold medal in the Teenagers Category (Level 1). The Cordillera singing group won another gold medal in the Folkloric Category (Level 4, Championship Qualifier) after gaining 81.65 points.

The Cordillera Regional Science High School Glee Club also made history as the first-ever high school choir from the Cordillera region to represent the Philippines in the Indonesia international choral tilt organized by Bandung Choral Society (BCS) and the Bali International Choral Society (BCIF).
