Filipino director Giovannie Espiritu’s award-winning movie, “Ultra Feminist,” will be screened at the 2019 Outfest Los Angeles LGBTQ Film Festival.
The screening of the Filipino-American filmmaker’s film will be held during the 37th anniversary of Outfest, the Los Angeles-based nonprofit organization promoting equality by creating, sharing, and protecting LGBTQ stories on the screen.
Ultra Feminist received an honorable mention at the 2019 Outfest Fusion One-Minute Movie Contest held in March.
Outfest is presented by HBO. The nation’s leading LGBTQ festival will be held in Los Angeles on July 18-28, 2019.
