LA Clippers Filipino Heritage Night stars, Manny Pacquiao

International music star of Black Eyed Peas and world boxing champion Manny Pacquiao top bill the Filipino Heritage Night during the Los Angeles Clippers ball game versus the Charlotte Hornets on January 8, 2018 at the Staples Center.

The Filipino Heritage Night ticket sales will be donated to build more schools and provide education to Filipino children through the Foundation’s charitable efforts which was ranked in the GNP Top 10 Inspirational Stories of 2018.

GNP Top 10 Triumphs of 2018-ranking Manny Pacquiao who won his 11th championship belt in 2018 is in the United States for his WBA World Welterweight title defense on January 19 in Las Vegas.

Acclaimed brand marketer Roslynn Alba Cobbarubias, organizer of the event, posted on her social media about the tribute to the two Filipino icons which were also posted on the two stars’ social media. Cobbarubias thanked the LA Clippers for making the event happen.

The National Basketball Association’s LA Clippers cheerleading team Clippers Spirit will also perform at the event with crew member Filipino-American Kyla Fajardo who caught the world’s attention in 2017 as the youngest Clippers Spirit member.

An Instagram video shows and Pacquiao fusing their talents, rapping in the Filipino artist’s style while sports training in the U.S.

The Filipino Heritage Night headlining and Manny Pacquiao is scheduled at 7:30pm with a post-game show presenting more Filipino talents.
