Micaela Jasmine Mojde, Julia Basa bag golds, set records at Beijing All-Star Swimfest in China

Filipina young swimmers Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh and Julia Basa bagged multiple golds and set records at the Beijing All-Star Swimming Championships held in February in China.

The Philippine Swimming League’s (PSL) top swimmer, Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh, bagged 8 gold medals after ruling her competitions, and smashed 7 records:

  • 200-meter fly (2:17.89)
  • 200m individual medley (2:25.68)
  • 200m breaststroke (2:43.51)
  • 100mbutterfly (1:04.67)
  • 100m IM (1:09.85)
  • 50m butterfly (29.41)
  • 50m breast stroke (36:13)
  • 100m breaststroke (1.17.77)

The Pinay swimmer ruled her divisions, matching her 8-golds performance at the 2018 Tokyo Invitational Swimming Championship.

Aqua lass Julia Basa set a record in 200 backstroke and bagged golds in the Beijing Vs Asian All Star Challenge hosted by the International School of Beijing.

  • 200m backstroke (2:45.10)
  • mixed 400m freestyle (5:14.31)

Basa also won silver medals:

  • 200m freestyle (2:28.28)
  • 100m back stroke (1:29.31)
  • 50m backstroke (36.28)
