Netflix star Millie Bobby Brown, best known for her sci-fi horror series Stranger Things, took on different monsters from Philippine folklore in a hilarious video that showed the actress talking about how she would fight off the other-worldly creatures.
In the Netflix video released July on social media, Millie Bobby Brown started off saying that she heard some of the scariest monsters in the world are in the Philippines. “Is that true?” asks the Stranger Things lead star.
As Brown read off her tablet about Filipino folklore’s Manananggal – she paused, visibly incredulous and asked if it was a joke. Then went on, seemingly unfazed, saying how she would instead counsel the female creature of the night to get her own children and care for them instead of eating them!
The Emmy-nominated English actress then took on the Tikbalang, the Duwende, Miss Minchin, and wait, is that Manila Traffic she is taking on now? Not once though did she propose to use her Eleven powers.
