Popular wearable watch designer Philip Stein has released a limited edition Global Filipino Watch collection.
The timepiece was reissued in time for the 121st anniversary of Philippine Independence Day on June 12.
The Global Filipino Watch has the sun of the Philippine Flag set on a mother of pearl dial. The numbers 6 and 12 are embossed in gold to signify June 12, Philippine Independence Day. The leather watch straps come in the colors of the Philippine flag – blue, red, white, and yellow.
The Philip Stein dual timepiece’s bottom dial is set to time in the Philippines upon delivery according to the Global Filipino Watch site, “so that while we pursue our goals and dreams we are always looking back to where we came from and where we began our global Filipino journey.”
Global Filipinos such as Black Eyed Peas’ Apl.de.ap and STEM Superhero Janice Lao have worn the timepiece with pride.
The Global Filipino Watch was first issued in April 2017 on Philippine National Heroes Day “as a gesture of thanks for the support of Filipinos everywhere… Philip Stein created the Limited Edition Global FilipinoWatch to signify contributions of the Global Filipino wherever they may be.”
The luxury timepiece for Filipinos around the world are available on the Global Filipino Watch website.
