The Philippines’ pageant representative, Erikson “Erik” Gudelano IV, may not have secured a back-to-back win for the country, but Filipinos still have reason to be proud: he was named Mister Earth Asia 2025 in Colombia.
In a Latino-dominated competition, the 29-year-old commercial model and virtual assistant from Rizal Province stood out among the top candidates, earning recognition for his charisma and stage presence.
Although he did not advance to the semifinals, Gudelano still shined and proudly claimed the Mister Earth Asia title during the Mister Earth International coronation night held on August 29 (August 30 in the Philippines) in Bogotá.
He also seized the opportunity to showcase Filipino creativity through his national costume infused with native textiles from the Cordillera.
Here is the final result of the recently concluded Mister Earth International 2025 pageant in Colombia:
- Mister Earth International — Jonathan Bequer, Chile
- Mister Earth Water — Yefferson Velasquez, Peru
- Mister Earth Air — Rafael Jacome Rapalino, Colombia
- Mister Earth Fire — Jesus Daniel, Puerto Rico
- Mister Earth Caribbean — Junior Ledesma Aquino, Dominican Republic
- Mister Earth America — Alexi Cedeño, Ecuador
- Mister Earth Europe — Eduanys Milan Tamayo, Spain
- Mister Earth Asia — Erik Gudelano, Philippines
After the competition, Gudelano took to social media to dedicate his achievement to all those who supported and helped him achieve his dream of having an international pageant title.
“This one is for everyone who told me I could. Winning an international title has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember, and now, as I triumph, I can’t help but think of the village that helped me get here. To my coaches, my organization, my family, my friends, and my supporters—thank you. This is our victory. [Sparkles emoji] Muchas gracias. Maraming salamat po,” he wrote.
In 2024, mining engineer and college professor Nathaniel Tiu of Cebu bagged the Philippines’ Mister Earth International crown at the competition also held in Colombia.
Meanwhile, model and professional basketball player Ralph Jude Dinolan, also from Cebu, bagged the Mister National Earth title from the Mister National Universe 2025 pageant held last June in Thailand.
