The Philippines has been ranked Top 4 in the list of 10 travel destinations chosen by and recommended for Australians by Finder, a website listing the best lifestyle choices for Aussie holidaymakers.
The Southeast Asian nation of 7,641 islands was named in the best-of-list topped by New Zealand (1st), Indonesia (2nd), and Thailand (3rd).
Writers Stephanie Yip and Dylan Crismale described the islands as where “you’ll find everything from pristine beaches and jungle tracks to luxury resorts”.
The feature also recommended Filipino food such as sisig and adobo.
Finder recommended visiting the Philippines in April-May or November-December outside of the rainy season.
The Top 10 Travel Destination list also noted the Philippines as the third most searched destination on Agoda.
Popular beaches in the Philippines include World’s Best Island-winner Boracay and Palawan.
