Junior dance crew VPeepz is showing their Filipino moves in the season premiere of NBC’s World of Dance (WOD) with JLo, NeYo, and Derek Hough airing on February 26 (February 27 MLA time).

WOD published a feature on the Philippine team confirming its selection as a competitor in the first episode of Season 3, profiling the VPeepz dance crew’s beginnings and achievements on the dance stage.

The Filipino dance group has also been teasing on social media their inclusion in the season 3 of the talent competition held in America saying, “WE MADE IT.

We’re finally at @nbcworldofdance ! The journey here is tough and we’re here to make a statement that our country has world-class talent! Celebrating this milestone for our country with pride. 🇵🇭 The Qualifiers round will be tough especially going against the world’s best. We’re looking forward to a great competition. Representing the Philippines at the Junior Team Division, we are VPeepz!”

In the WOD article published February 20 writer Elizabeth Spurbeck highlighted how VPeepz started in 2015 when their coach Chips Beltran formed them to be the best varsity dance team in the Philippines. “He succeeded and VPeepz went on to exceed all his expectations with a fierce determination and dedication to their training,” writes Spurbeck.

VPeepz achievements include:

  • defended Regional and National title at the Hip-Hop International Philippines two times since 2016
  • awarded the Philippines’ state recognition for the prestigious Ani ng Dangal (Harvest of Honors) for three straight years
  • becoming a household name in the Philippines dance community
  • setting the standards for excellence for junior teams in the country
