Filipino singer Iñigo Pascual’s rendition of the pop classic hit “All Out Of Love” by Air Supply has received approval from the legendary rock duo, Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock.

Iñigo Pascual, in collaboration with music producer Moophs, was earlier given the opportunity to recreate the iconic song set to be released on February 5, 2021.

The Filipino artist was at a loss for words when the Air Supply band members English singer-songwriter and guitarist Graham Russell and Australian lead vocalist Russell Hitchcock joined the video call in his recent interview with MYX Philippines.

According to the British-Australian soft rock duo, they already heard Pascual’s upcoming song cover and even invited Pascual to join them on stage when they come to the Philippines for a show.

“I heard your version of All Out Of Love, it’s fantastic. I love it,” guitarist Graham Russell said.

“Thank you so much. I’m out of words right now, I don’t even know what to say,” Iñigo Pascual replied.

Pascual talked about the song’s popularity in the Philippines and his initial reaction when he was told that he would be reimagining the group’s 1980 worldwide hit.

“It was an automatic yes for me. Honestly, I am freaking out that I am talking in front of them. I grew up listening to their songs, especially ‘All Out of Love.’ It’s just part of our blood. We know the lyrics to it. Even if you didn’t grow up in that generation, it’s part of our culture. I am very grateful,” Pascual adds.

Currently, Russell and Hitchcock are preparing for their first-ever virtual concert “Love Letters” which will be streamed worldwide from Jacksonville, Florida, on Valentines’ Day.

“I think your reaction there in the Philippines is stronger than anywhere in the world. We do appreciate that. Especially this year, we’re gonna be 46 years together on the road. To have this response, and artists performing our songs, it’s unbelievable. It’s a real honor for us,” Russell said.

Iñigo Pascual’s rendition of “All Out Of Love” will be out on music streaming platforms on February 5, 2021.

Filipino singer-actor Iñigo Pascual launched his first international single “Options” in 2019 and earlier delivered a trending performance in Asia Rising Forever and performed during the Los Angeles Clippers National Basketball Association (NBA) game at the iconic Staples Center in California.
