2 Manila-based hotels score high in Forbes guide to world’s most luxurious

The Philippines’ Nüwa Manila and Skytower at Solaire Resort and Casino have been listed in the Top 58 World’s Most Luxurious Hotels list by Forbes Travel Guide.

The Forbes inaugural Verified List of the 2018 World’s Most Luxurious Hotels included the two Manila-based hotels among the most luxurious from among 17 countries based on data collected by Forbes incognito inspectors.

Nüwa Manila in the City of Dreams Manila Entertainment City in Parañaque was marked by Forbes as a luxury hot spot for being “all about sophistication and luxury, down to the finest detail, from the gold-laden entrance to the custom wallpaper inside guest rooms… each lavishly designed to provide maximum comfort and convenience with a touch of Filipino warmth.”

Skytower at Solaire Resort and Casino was introduced by Forbes as “A haven of luxury in the heart of Manila” that “exudes luxury without compromising utility — from the main entrance adorned with a glamorous Swarovski chandelier to the exquisitely decorated suites” with its “courteous and well-trained staff — clad in outfits designed by celebrated local fashion designer and innovator Rajo Laurel — represents fine Filipino hospitality, adding a whole new level of satisfaction to the all-suite Manila hotel.”

Earlier this year, both hotels were given the 5-star rating by Forbes Travel Guide – the only independent, global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants and spas.

The 2018 World’s Most Luxurious Hotels by Forbes lists the top performers in the standards that reflect detailed attention to the level of sumptuous comfort, as well as luxurious choices and conveniences afforded to guests.

Nüwa Manila is designed by world-renowned architect Michael Fiebrich. The Forbes incognito inspector highlights the health and wellness facilities at Nüwa Spa Manila and cited its access to a state-of-the-art casino, luxury shops, and family interactive play space at DreamPlay.

The 17-story Skytower at Solaire Resort & Casino was designed by the renowned hotel and casino architect Paul Steelman (famous for designing numerous high-end leisure properties in Las Vegas and Macau). The Forbes inspector highlights noted the Skytower at Solaire Resort & Casino spa and wellness center, outdoor pool, theater, casino, shopping hub.

Nüwa Manila and Skytower at Solaire Resort & Casino were named to the top 58 most luxurious hotels which spans hotels found from Boston in the United States to Bali in Asia.
