DLSU tops Chemical Engineers board exams, UP scores 100% passing

Graduates of De La Salle University (DLSU) and the University of the Philippines (UP) topped the recent Chemical Engineer Licensure Examination administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in November.

DLSU Manila graduate Martin Zechariah Magat Valencia placed first, followed by two University of the Philippines graduates, Maru Feriel Olivan Del Carmen of UP Diliman at the second spot, and Chester Jules Antonio Tantoco of UP Los Banos at third in the list of passers released by the PRC on November 27.

UP, which took a total of 7 topnotcher spots, was named top-performing school with a 100% passing rate for its graduates who were among the 899 board passers out of the 1,259 examinees who took the examination in Manila and Cebu.

3. UNIVERSITY OF SANTO TOMAS, 73 out of 88, 82.95 %

DLSU and UP are the two Philippine universities in the Asia Pacific Times Higher Education World University Rankings.

DLSU and UP also topped the board exams for Civil Engineer and Certified Public Accountant.
