While most YouTube watchers love the music videos and do-it-yourself (DIY) tips on the video sharing platform, did you know we have Filipina Youtubers using their channels to share their own stories of championing causes they are passionate about while promoting women empowerment?
A great number of YouTube audiences go online to be entertained and perhaps to learn, even more so in the Philippines where YouTube has now become the modern companion and teacher of Filipinos according to a Universal McCann survey. Makeup and fashion? Home cooking? Inspirationals? They have it all in YouTube.
Last February, Good News Pilipinas shared a list of Inspiring Filipino and Pinoy-at-heart men YouTubers who are famous for business tips, positivity and entertainment. This March in celebration of International Women’s Month, Good News Pilipinas put together this list of Filipina YouTubers sharing all kinds of tips – for business, home kitchens, personal fashion, entertainment, and good news online while lifting our Filipino pride.
1. TRIXIE ESGUERRA
First on the list is our GoodNewsPilipinas! TV anchor Trixie Esguerra who loves to inject positive vibes in her posts online. You can watch Trixie as she anchors the weekly GoodNewsPilipinas! TV Week In Review on YouTube and Facebook.
Trixie is Positivitrix on YouTube with her tips and tricks to be positive, which are also featured Mondays on GoodNewsPilipinas.com.
A Psychology graduate of the University of the Philippines Manila, Trixie is also a Toastmaster, a Dale Carnegie graduate in a class with Miss Universe Catriona Gray, and a Tony Robbins’ crew member.
An entrepreneur with Wrap It Up Specialty Store and the country’s vision board coach, Trixie Esguerra loves hosting events and gigs, and conducts workshops here and abroad. She has been featured in various television shows such as ABS-CBN’s Umagang Kay Ganda.

2. JUDY ANN SANTOS-AGONCILLO
Actress and host turned chef Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo just loves cooking and she has been sharing her passion on her YouTube channel Judy Ann’s Kitchen which has recorded over 27 million views since it went online in 2017.
In 2018, Judy Ann and husband Ryan prepared dinner for the nuns in Vatican during their trip in Rome. This event made it to the Good News Pilipinas Yearender Top 10 Positive Action Stories by Filipinos.

3. CHRISTINE BERSOLA-BABAO
She is now a YouTuber! Multimedia personality Christine Bersola-Babao has become a YouTuber just in September last year but she has uploaded more than 80 videos already.
Tintin gives life tips just like what she shared with Good News Pilipinas on Valentine’s Day. Her YouTube channel not only features her family life, travel, home, and art, but also tips about business and entrepreneurial lessons useful for mothers and fathers who want to start a business.
To date, Christine Babao’s Chronicles on YouTube has already garnered nearly 200 thousand views and counting.
4. ALEX GONZAGA
With more than 3 million subscribers and over 213 million views on her channel since July 2017, it is undeniable that Alex Gonzaga is one of the local YouTuber queens.
Her bubbly personality makes her video attractive, as Gonzaga infuses her quirkiness in her travel videos, pranks, house raids and parodies.
To beat the boredom and stress, Ms Alex Gonzaga on YouTube is surely the one to go to online.
5. HEART EVANGELISTA
Love Marie Ongpauco-Escudero, more popularly known as Heart Evangelista in the Philippine entertainment world, started her YouTube channel only in September of 2018 but has already captured over 500 thousand subscribers.
An award-winning actress, TV host, and world fashion icon – Heart shares her travel videos and, of course, the closest to her heart – her fashion. Her collaboration with Seqouia Paris was featured in Good News Pilipinas! TV Week In Review.
The fashion influencer, author, painter, and PAWS advocate has recorded nearly 16 million views on her YouTube channel, Love Marie Escudero.
