BREAKING NEWS: Filipino-Canadian Mikey Bustos’ AntsCanada YouTube Channel has earned two finalist spots in the 2020 Streamy Awards.
The YouTube celebrity who is best known for featuring Filipino culture in his vlogs was announced to be in the finals of the Streamy Awards nominations list released by Dick Clark Productions and Tubefilter on October 21, 2020 (October 22 Philippine Time).
AnstCanada received two nominations in the 10th edition of the YouTube Streamys which recognizes up-and-coming stars with millions of followers to global icons.
AntsCanada is one of Mikey Bustos’ YouTube channels along with his YouTube Gold Play Button-awarded Pinoy Boy Channel Mikey Bustos, Mikey Bustos Vlogs, and Mikey Bustos Music.
AntsCanada features Mikey’s passion for ant farming, a hobby that was turned into an enterprise of innovations in ant keeping products since 2009. The channel currently commands nearly 4 million subscribers to the new ant videos uploaded every Saturday.
AntsCanada is nominated for Best Documentary in the Subject Awards, competing against Justin Bieber: Seasons, Nikita Unfiltered, The Secret Life of Lele Pons, and the State Of Grace.
AntsCanada’s Pro Ant Farms is also nominated for Best Creator Product in the Brand Awards, competing against Chamberlain Coffee – Emma Chamberlain, Dragun Beauty – Nikita Dragun, Hairitage – Mindy McKnight, McKinnon Camera Pack – Peter McKinnon, and Spacestation Integrations.
Mikey Bustos and his producer and partner Rj Garcia shared the good news on social media and thanked supporters. “Thank you to all #ACFamily who watch the ant videos and to the Streamy Awards for the recognition! I’m so honoured!”

The 2020 YouTube Streamys will be awarded on December 13 with an exclusive live broadcast.
