Four new labels are joining 9 previous participants to represent the Philippines in Paris. Credits to CITEM.

A collection of Filipino designs are now on showcase at the Maison & Objet, the premier interior design trade show in Paris, France.

The 13 Philippine design brands are representing the country and are bringing proudly Filipino designs to a global audience at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre from September 6 to 10.

The Center for International Trade and Exposition (CITEM) report sent to Good News Pilipinas says the collection is gathered under the theme “Kindred: A Design Collective” with the creative direction of Rita Nazareno and Gabby Lichauco.

8 previous Maison & Objet participants:

2. CSM Philippines
3. Finali
4. Nature’s Legacy
5. Schema
6. Tali Handmade
7. Vito Selma
8. Weave Manila
9. Zacarias 1925

These 4 new participants are joining the 2019 edition of the trade show:
1. E. Murio
2. HaloHalo
3. JB Woodcraft
4. South Sea Veneer

Filipino designers have been receiving global attention such as the Junk Not Recycled furniture at the 2018 Paris Design Week and Kenneth Cobonpue with his award-winning chairs at the U.S Product Design competition and Star Wars furniture collaboration.
