“All of this will end soon and everything will be back to normal,” says 7-year-old Ayesha Zara as she sings Michael Jackson song

Actress Yasmien Kurdi and 7-year-old daughter Ayesha Zara went on Instagram to sing Michael Jackson’s “Heal The World”, a song the young girl dedicated to the world now experiencing the coronavirus pandemic.

“This song is dedicated to the world. I know God will heal it,” said Ayesha at the beginning of the video posted on Instagram on March 18, 2020, by Yasmien Kurdi.

In an earlier video, Ayesha was asked by her father Rey Soldevilla for a message to people undergoing quarantine and she wisely replied, “All of this will end soon and everything will be back to normal”.

Ayesha’s family is quarantined at their home as the entire Luzon was declared on lockdown on March 16 in a government move to stop the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 or COVID-19.

Netizens reacted positively to the heartwarming sight of a mother and daughter duet to inspire the world during the crisis.

“Love this song, ramdam ko ung mensahe ng kanta hinagpis ng buong mundo. Please Lord, hear our prayer, heal our land and the whole world. Amen!” netizen @yhoung_rhea commented on the Instagram video.

“Iyak ako.my prayer is for everyone to contemplate what we did to our world n be sorry for it and ask god for forgiveness lalo na mlapit na holy week.😢,” posted @noreen_agas

Yasmien Kurdi has been posting YouTube videos of their family activities during the quarantine, documenting how they are keeping the family busy and productive and sharing tips on how other families can survive these uncertain times.

Yasmien Kurdi was hailed for finishing her university degree amidst her busy acting career and motherhood.

Filipino celebrities and social media influencers have been using the platform to provide inspiration and gather help for the frontliners of the fight against COVID-19.

America’s Got Talent Champions 3rd Runner Up Winner Marcelito Pomoy also posted a cover of Heal The World which started off with the multiple-voiced singer in prayer for healing.

Singer-composer Jamie Rivera posted a Facebook video of her new version of “Heal Our Land” as the Inspirational Diva of the Philippines reminded Filipinos of the power of prayer at this time of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ryan Cayabyab started on March 19 a series of FB live concerts called the “Bayanihan Musikahan” that features Pinoy musicians playing music from their homes while on quarantine to gather pledges to assist the poor of Metro Manila.
