For those who have started businesses, have you seen any progress? Do you think that this year will be another good one for you, and are you thinking of venturing into another one?
Not all business will be successful. This is because of a lot of factors, namely:
- An entrepreneur’s dedication
- Knowledge and skills
- Effective marketing plan
- Customer-oriented goals.
If you were able to see an increase in your sales and encountered just minor setbacks in your business, then you are slowly moving up!
But, if you don’t have the skills and attitude, and lack the motivation to do the extra work needed, then you are just wasting your time, effort, and money.
A real entrepreneur is someone who sticks to what he has planned and continues to improve the business. If you have poor people skills, and you do not maintain high-quality products and services, you are bound to lose everything that you have.
Two Kinds of People
There are 2 kinds of people who yearn for success. One is an employee who works a 9-5 job, aims to please his boss hoping for a promotion. The other is the entrepreneur who creates his own company. Which one are you?
Both of them can be successful, but who between the two do you think can be seen as a real success story?
When you start your own business, your mind is focused on not just the now, but the future – not only for yourself or for your family, but as well as the generations to come. The ultimate goal of every entrepreneur is to put up a sustainable business that would last generations.
Just look at how successful the SM and Ayala Malls. These companies have been in the business for three generations and they continue to grow until this day. Not all businesses can be as rich as them, but, what I am driving at is maintaining the same dedication and perseverance to make the business flourish.
A New Year To Face
It’s another year, which means another chance at anything. If you feel that you did not make it that well last year, don’t lose hope. Make a list of all the problems that you encountered and across every problem, try to think of a solution on how to avoid it from happening this year.
If you think that your business is successful enough and you are considering to have it franchised, never hesitate to ask advice from someone who has knowledge about the business.
There is always a right time for everything. Success is not done overnight. But, if things are going good for you, take the plunge. But also remember, that as you grow your business, expect more responsibilities and problems to come. Your funds are not enough to grow your business. You need to be 101% sure that you are aware of what you are doing.
2019 is a promising year for everyone. It is another opportunity to start anew and look back at all our mistakes and work hard to correct them. Whether you are an entrepreneur or an aspiring entrepreneur, never cease learning. Crave to know more about your business and how you can make it stand out from the rest.
Business Trends To Watch For in 2019
1. Modern Workplace
You may have noticed how all Starbucks outlets are just filled with people 24/7. Most of them have their laptops and books with them. For some, it may not be the most convenient place to work or study since people pass by every now and then. But if you have space where you can use as a workplace for different people where you can also serve coffee and snacks, it would be a magnet to those who like to study in coffee shops. You charge them by the hour to use the internet connection and for the space that they use.
2. Social Advertising
The demand for a better advertisement for businesses through Social Media will be tremendous in the coming years. Individuals and companies alike would surely take advantage in helping out business attain their goals through virtual marketing and advertisement.
3. Personal Stylists and Shoppers
Before, you only heard about these people from celebrities. But, now you can get help from these fashion experts with just at a minimal cost.
This is always a great business to start – for as long as you can makefood that’s tasty and very pleasing to the eyes. Whether they are franchised food businesses or not, just being able to find the perfect location and the right kind of food will always make any Juan happy and full at any time of the day.
2019 promises us to bring new hopes and aspirations that would help us get back all throughout the year. I hope you get inspiration to start your own small business that would hopefully become successful in the coming months.
