The Philippines’ e-Kata champion James De Los Santos continues to display his World No. 1 ranked-skills as he bagged another three gold medals in one day while claiming his third Grand Winner title.

The first e-Kata player to breach the 26-point mark again finished strong after harvesting three gold medals at the conclusion of three tournaments: the Okinawa E-Tournament World Series #3, 3rd Dutch Open E-Tournament, and Athlete’s E-Tournament Finale on December 21, 2020.

Delos Santos first set his 3 gold medal streak in 1 day – his 27th, 28th, and 29th Golds – in his December 8 tournaments at the E-Karate Games, 2nd Euro Grand Prix, and Rome International Endas Karate Cup.

The Philippine national athlete who beat a Guinness Record holder while picking up his 25th gold in early December added the three wins in his perpetual gold medal haul which now totals 33.

“2nd Hat Trick! 31st, 32nd, and 33rd Golds in a day, and my 3rd Grand Winner title! 🥇🎩🏆” wrote De Los Santos in a Facebook post.

The World No. 1 e-kata player, bested Switzerland’s Matias Moreno-Domont in the final round to claim his 31st gold with a score of 25.34-24.48.

In the 3rd Dutch Open E-Tournament, the Filipino karateka downed Silvio Cerone-Biagioni of South Africa with 24.4-23.8 points, for his 32nd gold win.

The 30-year-old athlete earned his 33rd gold after defeating Alfredo Bustamante of the United States in the Athlete’s E-Tournament Finale, scoring 25.66-25.06.

De Los Santos won his 3rd Grand Winner Title from the Athlete’s E-Tournament Series. The country’s top kata athlete now holds 3 grand winner titles after dominating the Venice Cup for his 26th gold, and the E-Champions Trophy World Series where he picked up his 30th gold.

De Los Santos still has three more tournaments left before 2020 ends.

The Filipino champion martial artist thanked God, his sponsors, family, and coaches for the support he receives.

“It’s not over yet. There are still three more tournaments for me to finish before I exit 2020 with a bang. One final push. 👊 🔥 🇵🇭” announced the Filipino karate champion.
