Newly crowned Miss Universe (MU) Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo and six more beauty queens have joined the relief pack operation for the victims of Super Typhoon ‘Rolly’ in the Bicol region.

The beauty queens volunteered to help the initiative of Filipino-owned health and wellness industry Frontrow International in the repacking of the first batch of goods to be sent to hard-hit Bicol shared on Instagram on November 4, 2020.

The reunited Miss Universe queens and Frontrow team managed to repack thousands of sacks of rice, canned goods, coffee, and noodles to rally behind the campaign #BangonBicol.

Ilongga beauty queen Rabiya Mateo was joined by her Miss U sisters – 1st runner-up Ysabella Ysmael, 2nd runner-up Michele Gumabao, 3rd runner-up Pauline Amelinckx, 4th runner-up Billie Hakenson, Sorsogon’s bet Maria Isabela Galeria, and Albay candidate Paula M. Ortega.

Mateo, the Philippines bet for the next MU posted on her Instagram about unity in times of calamity.

“Bangon Bicol because Frontrow cares❤️
Together with my MUPH sisters and Kuya @samverzosa and @rsfrancisco888, we were able to repack thousands of sacks of rice and canned goods for the benefit of the victims of Super Typhoon Rolly in Bicol region…”

“Babangon at babangon ang Pilipino basta mag kakasama tayong lahat sa anumang hamon ng buhay!” said the 24-year old Filipino-Indian beauty queen.

Isabela Galeria, from Sorsogon, Bicol also encouraged others to lend a hand in helping Bicolanos recover from the typhoon damage.

“Bicolanos have always encountered calamities and this have made them strong and resilient in dealing with typhoons, but your help will go a long way… Please donate to the nearest organization near you who gives aide for the typhoon victims,” said Galeria.

Filipino celebrities have also banded together to seek donations for the victims of Super Typhoon ‘Rolly’ with Catriona Gray and Angel Locsin in the lead.

Filipino artist Robert Alejandro is also offering to draw kid’s digital caricature in exchange for helping the Philippines’ Bicol region.

SEND WELL WISHES in the comments below to Miss Universe Philippines 2020 queens for joining the relief pack operation for the victims of Supertyphoon Rolly in the Bicol region.
