Motivational speaker and trainer Francis Kong leads the list of the Top 100 LinkedIn accounts recommended by Marketing in Asia (MIA).

Francis Kong – a businessman, author, Philippine Star newspaper columnist, and DZFE FM radio host – led the “Top 100 Filipinos To Follow On LinkedIn For Inspiration And Learning” authored by Virginia Bautista and released in December, 2019.

Bautista recommended Kong as among the “100 iconic people you must follow on LinkedIn in Philippines if you really want to go far on your personal LinkedIn journey”.

MIA notes that Francis Kong is among the Filipino content creators who use the platform “not exactly the same as how others from the rest of the world use it”. Instead of purely business-related posts, the inspirational speaker and trainer shares nuggets of wisdom and inspiration.

Aside from being an entrepreneur and a communicator, Kong shares inspirational content on the social networking platform. “My passion is learning and sharing ideas to as many people as possible with the intention of inspiring people to do their best and to be at their best in terms of character and productivity,” Kong said in an interview with Marketing in Asia.

With over 96,442 followers, Kong is inspiring his fellow Filipinos by creating, engaging, and resharing content on the platform. “I use LinkedIn to post ideas and share them with people as well as to learn from others who have shared theirs,” he added.

Francis Kong encourages Filipino LinkedIn members to follow him on his LinkedIn account to discover new ideas and to join him in the process of learning.

Among the other inspiring Filipinos who made it to the Top 100 LinkedIn accounts are: Jonathan Yabut, Patrick Jess A. Dimayuga, Ben Ampil, Oliver Requilman, Jose Enrico V. Libunao, Paul Garcia, Ken Lerona, Patt Soyao, Kimwell B. Sto. Domingo, Darwin Rivers, Jordan Mendoza, Sheena Yap-Chan, June Myrrh Dueñas, Bonnie Factor, Rey Baguio, and Maria Korina Bertulfo.

LinkedIn is a known employment-oriented site that is mainly used for professional networking services where users can post job offerings for those who seek jobs.

LinkedIn had 660 million users from 200 countries and regions worldwide, according to the November 2019 report by Mansoor Iqbal on Business of Apps. There are more than 7 million Filipino LinkedIn members from the Philippines who find value in the content shared by their fellow Filipinos.

These Filipino content creators from various industries such as marketing, training, coaching, consulting, human resources, healthcare, technology, BPO, real estate, and many more, use the platform uniquely, aside from professional purposes, by posting and seeking advice from like-minded professionals and learn industry insights.

The Top 100 work on positivity/wisdom/inspiration, and share information and advocacies to inspire others, post professional and personal stories in Tagalog for sincere and inspiring engagements among the Filipino LinkedIn community.

The country is full of Filipino pride as its people continue to inspire fellow Filipinos, among them, inspiring 10 Pinoy families recognized by the Jollibee Family Value Awards.

These 9 Inspiring Filipino Micro-entrepreneurs were honored by Citibank.
