The child star shared a photo of him on Instagram which was taken at the Manila City Hospital while visiting child patients on December 11.

The 7-year-old star from General Santos City wrote on his post: “May we always have the heart to love and care for others and a helping hand to carry those who need it most…”

The Eat Bulaga Dabarkads host also encouraged his followers to include the patients he had visited in their prayers.

“Let us always pray for those who struggle with their health condition and those who bravely stand beside their sick kids,” Baeby Baste said.

Baeby Baste joins the list of Filipino TV personalities who use their celebrity status to help others.

Baste’s fellow child host Ryza Mae Dizon celebrated her birthday earlier this year while giving gifts to Aetas in Pampanga.

Twitter queen Maine Mendoza, whose AlDub pairing on Eat Bulaga lifted her status on local showbusiness from YouTube Yaya Dub celebrity to film and TV star, also had her share in helping others by selling some of her personal items to raise funds for AlDub scholars. Alden Richards, Mendoza’s former AlDub screen partner, has been anonymously providing scholarships to students from poor families.

GMA Kapuso primetime queen Marian Rivera also donated her excess breast milk to babies in need.

ABS-CBN Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin’s various acts of helping others were noticed by Forbes Asia who named her as a Hero of Philanthropy.
